Man sentenced to death for rape

A Saudi court sentenced a Pakistani man to death after he was convicted of raping a girl and filming her for blackmail, press reports said on Thursday.

Police had arrested the unnamed bus driver in the western Red Sea port of Jeddah after the university student complained that he raped her inside the university bus, the papers said.

He then used his mobile phone to shoot indecent pictures and films of her with he aim of blackmailing her.
