Man survives 200m fall off a mountain

A Saudi man suffered from serious injuries after plunging nearly 200 metres from the top of a mountain in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The unnamed man was on a trip with his friends when he slipped and fell into a deep valley near the western town of Taif, Okaz said.

Civil defence units plucked the man out and took him to hospital after suffering from serious injuries, the paper added.
