'Martyrs Street' between Fujairah and RAK

In the implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, the road linking the emirates of Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, has been re-named as 'Martyrs Street', in memory of the martyrs who lost their lives while performing their national duty during the Saudi-led coalition 'Operation Restoring Hope' in support of the legitimate government of Yemen.

The renaming of the street is also a tribute to the acts of courage and sacrifice which the martyred Emirati servicemen embodied.

The launching ceremony of Martyrs Street, or 'Shuhada Street' in Arabic, was attended by Mohammed Saif Al Afkham, Director-General of Fujairah Municipality, Munther Mohammed Bin Shakar, Director-General of Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, and a number of other departmental directors from both institutions.

Fujairah Ruler offers condolences to families of martyrs

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah and Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, have offered their sincere condolences to the families and relatives of Emirati servicemen who fell while taking part in the Arab coalition's Operation Restoring Hope, led by Saudi Arabia.

They visited the mourning majlises of martyrs Rashid Mohammed Abbas Al Baloushi, Rashid Nasser Al Zaabi, Hassan Mohammed Al Tunaiji in Kalba City, Saif Eisa Obaid Al Naqbi in Al Luluyah district in Khorfakkan and Saud Mohammed Al Saadi in Dafta district.

The Ruler of Fujairah prayed to Almighty Allah to rest their souls in eternal peace along with the righteous, and bestow patience and solace on their families and relatives.

He was also accompanied by Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Court and a number of Fujairah officials.

Ajman Ruler offers condolences on the death of Fahad Al Bloushi

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, yesterday afternoon offered condolences to the family of the martyr Fahad Al Bloushi who lost his life while performing his national duty in Operation restoring Hope, led by Saudi Arabia, to back the legitimate government of Yemen.

During their visit to the condolences tent, Their Highnesses extended their heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the martyr’s family and prayed to Allah Almighty to "bestow his mercy on the martyrs and place them in paradise and grant their families the patience and solace to bear the loss".
