Mom makes son drink gasoline, sets him on fire

In a horrific report emanating out of China, a mother is accused of setting her four-year-old son on fire after forcing him to drink gasoline.

Why? Because she wanted revenge against her husband. According to media reports, the boy was severely burned and fighting for his life.

beforeitsnews.com website identified the woman as Shen Dan, 40, of Jinhua, Zhejiang Province in eastern China and her son as Duoduo.

The husband, Zhang Qiusheng, 48, who is the child’s father, tried to intervene, but had gasoline poured on him as well and the woman then set him on fire.

The father is reported to have saved his son by extinguishing the flames with a blanket, while he was still in fire. His child’s lungs are said to be badly damaged by the gasoline he was forced to swallow.

Doctors said that if the child survives, he will almost certainly be blind and unable to speak. Shen, who has an older daughter from a previous marriage, is facing criminal charges.
