Mom sprays insecticide; daughter dies

A 14-year-old Saudi girl died after inhaling insecticide sprayed by her mother to clean the kitchen at her house in the Gulf kingdom.

The mother and two other little daughters were also rushed to hospital in serious condition after inhaling the toxic substance, which the mother had bought from a market in the Southern Jazan province.

Sabq newspaper quoted police as saying one daughter died on the way to hospital after inhaling the substance.
