Mother allows three men to rape daughter

Colombo - A mother, a resident of Girandurukotte in Mahiyanganaya, allowed three persons to rape her 14-year-old daughter, ‘Mawbima’ reported.

Police Constable Saman submitting a report before the magistrate stated that the suspect had aided three persons in the rape her underage daughter when they were residing in the Passara area and later, she had gone to live in Wellawaya with another man.

When the victim lodged a complaint through an aunt, a police team after an investigation went to Wellawaya to arrest her, but she had fled the area and later was arrested from Girandurukotte.

The police officer said that the three suspects had already been arrested, while the victim was admitted to Passara hospital.

The next hearing is on January 18.

Husband strips paramour before his wife

A man, who had an extramarital affair with a woman, cut her dress with a knife and videoed her naked body in front of his wife, ‘Hiru Gossip’ reported.

The victim, who was teaching in a private school, had been living alone in Raddolugama after divorcing her husband.

She met the said man in 2014 and started an extramarital affair.

The man’s legal wife was unaware of the affair and in the meantime, due to a dispute between him and the paramour, he decided to end the affair.

The woman, angry at his decision, went to meet his wife and related the story about their extramarital affair.

When he saw his wife and paramour together, he got frightened and his wife asked him whether the story was true.

He took his paramour into the house, locked the doors and cut her dress with a knife and videoed her naked on his mobile phone.

The man’s wife, who witnessed the entire scene, went to the police, who have now begun an investigation into the matter.
