There’s no greater bond of love than the precious one a mom shares with her child.

Nestlé NIDO cherishes this love and will help this year children from the Middle East express it in a very special way.

It has launched a campaign in which children can express their love to their mothers through the ‘I Love Mama’ painting competition.

To make it extra special, NIDO® has collaborated with Guinness to break the Record of the world’s largest greeting card.

Every child will get a chance to express their love to their moms through a creative drawing or a video that could be uploaded on the website www.nidolove.com.

“We are very excited to have found a platform that not only engages with children, but a platform in which children can express their love to their moms through their own creativity. We’re also very delighted to tie-up with Guinness World Records and be able to showcase all the creative submissions from the children and to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for Largest greeting card wishing moms a “Happy Mother’s Day”, said Nehmatallah Younes, Brand Manager.

The more likes received on the unique love expression submission, the more chance of the child to win a special gold pendant as a gift for their mother on Mother’s Day.

Running through February and March, Nestlé NIDO® is also conducting school roadshows in UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Jordan to engage with children (6-12 years of age) from 68 schools.

NIDO coloring kits are being provided to over 40,800 children for them to express their love to their mothers. One student from every school with the most creative and emotional message will also receive a gold pendant.

The current record to break was achieved by the University College, Dublin, Republic of Ireland, who created a free-standing Christmas card measuring 9 m x 6 m (29.5 ft x 19.7 ft) when closed and was made by a group of students as part of Commerce Day celebrations. When open the card measures 9 m x 12 m (29.52 ft x 39.37 ft).

Drawings and love expressions collected from the schools and through NIDO’s online platforms will be featured in the Nestlé NIDO® greeting card that will attempt to break a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the largest greeting card. The largest greeting card will be revealed at an event in Dubai on Mother’s Day.
