One dead, 4 critical in Sharjah accident

One persons was killed and four others seriously injured, in a collision between two vehicles yesterday on the Al Khalidyah bridge opposite Al Jazeera park in Sharjah.

The incident occurred when a bus on its way to Dubai was speeding and suddenly veered to the left lane which led to a collision with a Toyota Camry.

Due to impact the bus hit five people who were crossing the street at the same time.

One of them immediately died and four were seriously injured.

The Sharjah police and ambulance rushed to the scene and the injured were admitted to hospital.
