It’s a good season to buy a car in the UAE. Premium or primitive, almost every car brand worth its oil has announced Ramadan deals and discounts to woo potential car owners in the country or those who are looking for an upgrade or simply a change of wheels.

Mercedes
, a premium car brand retailed by Gargash enterprises in Dubai and by EMC in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, is giving reasons to people to walk into their showrooms to consider buying one of their cars. With its Ramadan offer, the brand is offering its customers a chance to own a Mercedes Benz C or E class and enjoy a complimentary service for two years. Other benefits include insurance rates of only 2.75 per cent and a three year warranty on the make. The company also claims to be offering good value on trade-ins on all brands.

Audi
, by Al Nabooda Automobiles (Dubai) and Ali & Sons (Abu Dhabi and Al Ain), another luxury carmaker, has also announced its annual Ramadan promotion, promising superior deals. Under the offer, customers purchasing an Audi before August 7, 2013, will benefit from a complimentary package of 5-year free service, 5-year free maintenance, 5-year warranty, 5-year 24-hour roadside assistance plus one year complimentary insurance.

Nissan, by Arabian Automobiles, on the other hand, has a special scratch-and-win promotion for all its customers and they have the opportunity to earn “guaranteed cash rewards up to Dh100,000” this Ramadan. Calling it their “biggest Ramadan giveaway ever,” the promotion starts July 2 until the end of Ramadan.

Infiniti,
also by Arabian Automobiles, is giving away a similar deal of Dh100,000 in cash awards. Besides this, the company is also offering 5-year complimentary service and 1-year insurance to customers who make the purchase during Ramadan.

Honda UAE
, from Trading Enterprises (Al-Futtaim Motors), is offering a number of bundle deals for its different models.

Interestingly, it is giving customers the option of driving away a Honda car for as low as Dh99 as the down payment. However, this is being branded “internal settlement with Al-Futtaim Motors,” whereby the down payment will be paid to the bank by the company upon the understanding between the customers and Honda UAE.

Besides this, Honda is offering free service up to 20,000 kilometers, first-year free insurance, free rust proofing, paint guard and tint as well as a Montblanc pen for all its CRV and Pilot model owners.

Toyota (Al-Futtaim Motors) is offering an engine or a model upgrade, as they call it. This means that if you buy a Corolla 1.6 litre engine, it will be upgraded to the 1.8-litre variant for the same price. This is applicable to many models including Corolla, Camry, Rav 4 and the Land Cruiser.

Al Tayer Motors
, which is the official dealer of Ferrari, Maserati, Ford, Lincoln, Jaguar, and Land Rover cars, is offering free service on select brands up to 100,000 kilometers.

BMW,
from official importer AGMC, is offering finance starting 0 per cent for three years on selected models.

Opel, by Liberty Automobiles, is offering its customers a choice between two Ramadan benefits packages, offering free insurance, warranty, maintenance contract, gift vouchers, buy-back guarantees and 0% bank interest up to two years, among others.

Jeep (Trading Enterprises) is persuading its potential customers with a chance to win back 12 monthly instalments through a draw while also giving away a 5-year warranty and fuel worth Dh1,000 on every purchase of select models.
