Pigeon sold for Dh332,000 in Kuwait

A pigeon was sold for KD25,000 (Dh332,000) in Kuwait, one of the biggest deals to involve such a bird in the Gulf, a newspaper said on Thursday.

The black pigeon was sold at an auction in the oil-rich Gulf emirate this week but it was not clear who was involved in the deal, according to the Arabic language daily Alanba, which carried a brief U-Tube film on the bird.
