Police investigate death at building site

A Pakistani man died at a construction site in Sharjah while two other workers were injured, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

The semi official daily Alittihad quoted a police spokesman as saying the worker died as a result of an “accident injury” at a building under construction.

He said another Pakistani and a Bangladeshi were injured at the site but he gave no further details.

“Police are investigating the incident to identify the causes and conditions that led to the death and injury,” the spokesman said.
