Pope Francis meets Jamal Al Suwaidi at the Vatican

Pope Francis met Dr. Jamal Sanad Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) at the Vatican today.

They emphasised the importance of building bridges of understanding among the different religions, cultures and peoples.

Al Suwaidi praised the role played by Pope Francic in serving world peace. He presented to him a copy of his book 'The Mirage'.
