In a bizarre incident, a pregnant woman from a small town near Mumbai bit her husband's ear off in a fit of anger, Indian police said.
Shilpa, 36, married to Prabhakar Shekhambe, 39, lived in Mumbai. The wife had moved to her parent's house after she got pregnant. When the husband went to meet her, a quarrel erupted between him and the wife's brother.
Shilps lost her cool and bit off a piece of her husband's ear.
Prabhakar has been admitted in a nearby hospital. Police officials are conducting investigation.
