His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved budget for the Emirate of Dubai for the year 2016.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has praised the efforts by the Dubai authorities to rapidly control the blaze at The Address Downtown Dubai hotel on Dec 31st night - well in time for the New year celebrations to go on as planned at the neighbouring Burj Khalifa.

In a tweet on January 1, Sheikh Mohammed said, "Proud of our police, civil defence and ambulance services."
"You demonstrated best-in-world capabilities last night," he continued.
His Highness also said: "We are honored to have such guests in the UAE. With you, despite last night's events, Dubai continued to shine with positivity and modernity."
