Rain is expected to lash the eastern region of the country Tuesday as dusty and hazy conditions continue elsewhere in the UAE.
Khaleej Times reported, quoting a National Centre for Meteorology and Seimology official, that hazy conditions would continue to prevail over western and internal parts of the country while the eastern and northern areas would witness scattered rainfall.
Following on the hailstorm witnessed around Al Karah Monday, met officials predict remote chances of hailstorm in the eastern region as well.
The official warned motorists of low visibility level due to dust in the western and southern areas, urging them to drive safely.
However, the conditions in the sea are likely to be moderate, with waves between two and five feet.
Mercury continued to sizzle Monday with the highs touching 47 degrees Celsius, while the lows hovered around 28 degrees.
Speeding winds kicked up dust and sand, reducing horizontal visibility, while rain lashed on the outskirts of Al Ain.
