Earlier: Pakistan’s Rouet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today to sight the crescent of the holy month of Ramadan.

To be chaired by Mufti Muneebur Rahman, the committee will meet at the meteorological department offices in Karachi.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there is a good chance for sighting the new moon of Ramadan today as skies would remain clear for a longer duration after sunset.
