Range Rover catches fire at petrol pump in Dubai

A vehicle caught fire at an Enoc petrol station in Dubai on Saturday.

Dubai Police said on its official Twitter account that the vehicle was at the station on Al Quds street.

No injuries were reported.

Dubai Civil Defence told 'Emirates24|7' that according to staff at the petrol station the fire started in a Range Rover while the Emirati car owner was inside the supermarket at the station.

The fire caused serious damages to vehicles and the petrol station, according to eye witnesses who spoke to 'Emirates 24|7'.

Meanwhile, Enoc confirms in a statement that "a fire broke out at one of the petrol stations in Twar. The fire was quickly contained by Dubai Civil Defence and the Enoc team. No injuries were reported. We are working with the concerned authorities to investigate the accident. The safety of our employees and customers remains our utmost priority.”
