10-month-old girl drowns in bucket

An unattended 10-month-old Saudi girl managed to climb into a bucket filled with water but drowned after she could not climb out, a newspaper said Wednesday.

The girl was playing around the bucket when her parents went into another room at their house in the southern town of Samita, Okaz said.

“She climbed into the bucket and drowned…she was rushed to hospital but died on the way,” it said.
