12 donkeys saved in flood-hit Saudi areas

They were taken to safety by boats

Saudi divers rescued 12 donkeys trapped in floods caused by heavy rain in south Saudi Arabia over the past few days.

Divers from the civil defence and municipality in the Southern town of Baha used ropes and boats to take the donkeys to safety after they were about to drown.

“Twelve donkeys and other animals were saved after they were driven away by heavy floods in the area,” Sabq newspaper said, quoting officials.
