12 sheep, 2 camels killed in Saudi lightning

Lightning killed 12 sheep and two camels at a Saudi farm while their shepherd fell unconscious for several hours after he was also struck.

The expatriate shepherd was with the sheep and two camels near the farm in the central town of Rimah when the bolt struck them.

“Twelve of my sheep and two camels were killed while my shepherd fell unconscious for several hours before he was revived at hospital,” farmer Saad Al Subaei told ‘Sabq’ daily.
