19m-long snake invades Tunisian village

A massive snake measuring nearly 19 metres invaded a tiny Tunisian village but residents joined hands in killing it before it hurt anyone.

A villager on his way back home from his farm in the village in the southern Douz province stumbled across the reptile and hurried to residents for support.

Newspapers said many villagers, using scythes and other farming equipment, joined hands in killing the snake before it could reach their houses.
