Two Saudi brothers have one thing in common. Both of them have remained loyal to their wives, decades after their deaths.
One brother visits his wife’s grave at least four times a week and talks to her for hours.
Their story went viral on social media and many were surprised to see men loyal to their wives even in this age.
The elder brother lost his wife 45 years ago, while the younger brother’s wife died about 11 years ago. But, both the men have remained loyal to their wives. The younger brother visits his wife’s grave minimum four times a week.
According to their families, the men visit their wives’ graves and talk to them as if they are sitting before them. They say that the brothers have set an example to their neighbourhood of being loyal and loving husbands.
However, several social media users also comment that they find it hard to believe. “Many men are not loyal to their wives when they are alive, so how could these two brothers be loyal to their dead wives,” asked Maha, a Saudi girl.
Another Saudi girl, Fatima, said, “This is the biggest lie this year, and really hard to believe no matter what people say.”
Amal, also from Saudi, said, “Men in this family are very sensitive.”
Duaa, a Kuwaiti, said, “Some men start searching for a new wife the same week that their wives die. How come these two brothers have remained loyal all these years?”
