Three Saudi teen age boys passing near a cash machine noticed a large sum of money stuck in its socket. Instead of taking it, they guarded the machine.
When an old customer came to withdraw cash, they told him the machine is faulty and is giving cash without a card.
“The man thanked them for their honesty and called the police, who came and cleared the money before contacting the bank,” Sabq Arabic language daily said in a report from the Northwestern Saudi town of Hail.
It quoted police and bank officials the three boys would be honored later this week.
