An eight-year-old Lebanese girl in Kuwait plunged to her death from the 15th floor after she stepped into the lift which was not there.
The family of the unnamed girl informed police that they could not find their daughter hours after she went down to the shop.
“Police noticed that one of the lifts in the building was out of order…when they forced it open, they found the girl’s body inside,” Alanba daily said.
“A police spokesman said he believed the girl opened the lift door on the 15th floor and stepped in, not realizing the lift was not there.”
