Aden Governor Jaffar Sa'ad and the UAE Red Crescent staff could not control themselves and broke out in tears when watching a play about the sufferings of Yemeni people following the war by Houthis.

The play – organised by students of Ba Katheer Secondary School in Aden - was in the form a dialogue between two students whose fathers were martyred in the war. They discuss how their life changed after they lost their loved ones, reported 'Al Bayan'

The play also reflected upon the effect of Houthis invasion on the psyche of children and how their dreams are shattered.

The girls in the play demonstrated how unhappy their lives have become and what it means to live without a father and a brother. They spoke about how studies took a beating and how unbearable it is to think of a future without their loved ones.

The play was organised as part of UAE Red Crescent’s endeavor in re-opening schools and distributing school bags.
