The 'Thank You the Kingdom of Firmness' campaign and the 'Thank You Emirates of Benevolence' campaign on Thursday unveiled a giant painting showing the leaders of the Arab Coalition to thank them for saving Yemen from the Houthi rebel group and militias loyal to ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The painting is the first-of-its-kind in Al Mansoura city district in the Governorate of Aden.

Firas Al Yafea, head and coordinator of the two campaigns, said, "Had it not been for the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, no victories would have been made in the liberated areas.

The least we should do in this case is to raise the pictures of the leaders of the Coalition in Aden."

Al Yafea noted that the Arab Coalition forces intervened in Yemen in response to the calls from the Yemeni people and government to spare Yemen from collapsing and preserve its history and Arab identity from any outlandish plans being carried out by the Houthi rebel militia."
