An AIDS-infected expatriate nurse at a hospital in Saudi Arabia told police she had engaged with three male nurses and another hospital employee, saying she did not know she was suffering from the deadly disease.

The nurse was found to be infected with the Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome when she had blood test for a visa renewal in the western Saudi town of Medina.

“She was told she had AIDS and was admitted to King Fahd hospital…the nurse told police that she had sex with three male nurses and an employee at the management office,” Arar Arabic language daily said without identify the nurse.

Expatriates in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf oil producers are required to undergo blood tests for AIDS for the renewal of their visas.

AIDS can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, blood and contaminated needles.
