A professional Saudi photographer captured what he described as "live panoramic pictures of lightning during a thunderstorm in the Gulf Kingdom".

The pictures were published by the Arabic language daily 'Sabq', which said they were shot by Saleh Al Firaig in the northern town of Rafha near the border with Iraq.
