Arab coalition warplanes attacked Houthi weapons caches near the capital Sanaa on Tuesday while other jets raided a rebel military training camp north of the capital.

Military sources, quoted by Yemen’s Masdar Online news network, said the aircraft struck weapons stores belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis and their allies just west of Sanaa and destroyed them completely.

Coalition jets also attacked a tank ammunition cache in Kawkaban close to the capital and that it was totally destroyed by scores of air-to-ground rockets.

The sources said the planes also struck a military training camp for the coup rebels in Hawa area north of Sanaa at dawn on Tuesday, adding that there were no immediate reports of casualties among the militias in the camp.

Houthis arrest 15 port workers

Yemeni Houthi rebels appeared to be losing their balance by storming the Western Alhudaydah port and arresting 15 workers on charges of spying for the Saudi-led Arab coalition, a Yemeni news network reported on Wednesday.

The Iranian-backed Houthi militias rounded up scores of the port workers, including children, and led them to an unknown place for interrogation, Masdar Online said.

A few hours later, they released some of the workers but were still detaining 15 others by late Tuesday, the network said, quoting a port source.

“They accused them of guiding coalition warplanes to their targets. It is not the first time they have done this,” the source said
