Arrested husband blames wife for drug dealing

A Somali who was arrested in Saudi Arabia for drug dealing blamed his wife, saying he only provided a cover up for her.

In a report from the western Red Sea port of Jeddah on Wednesday, Okaz newspaper said police found a large quantity of narcotics at the Somali house after a tip-off that the couple have been distributing drugs in the neighborhood.

“Police raided the house and found that it was full of flowers and sweets…they were told that the daughter of the couple will marry on that day,” the paper said.

“But they pursued their search and in the end they found the drugs hidden in the toilet’s sewage…the Somali man said he did not know about the drugs and accused his wife…he told police he only provided a cover-up.”
