Boy dies after swallowing his tongue

A Saudi boy died while playing football with his friends in the Gulf Kingdom after swallowing his tongue, the Saudi Kabar newspaper reported on Sunday.

Adnan Obaid, a teen ager, was chasing the ball in the field in the eastern province of Ihsaa when he suddenly fell unconscious, it said.

“His friends tried to wake him up but they panicked when they saw that he had swallowed his tongue….they rushed him to the hospital but he died before he was examined.”
