Brother’s killer says he was joking

A Saudi teen ager who stabbed his brother to death told police he did not mean to kill him because he was just joking, Kabar newspaper reported on Saturday.

The 16-year-old boy stabbed his elder brother in the chest after an apparent dispute at their house in the central town of Taif, it said.

The victim, 20, died at hospital while his brother was arrested by police, who investigated him over the cause of the argument.

“He told the police that he was just joking with his brother…but he later confessed under pressure that he had an argument with him over a car.”
