Butcher caught slaughtering dead sheep

Saudi authorities arrested two Asian butchers and shut down their shop in the Gulf Kingdom after they were caught slaughtering dead and diseased sheep.

Police stopped a car owned by the butchers after suspecting it was transporting diseased sheep to the shop from their house in the western town of Alqunfudah.

“They raided the car and the shop and found that the two butchers were slaughtering sheep which are not fit for human consumption….some of the sheep were diseased while some were already dead,” Sabq daily said.
