Car charred but Quran copy remains intact

A car which caught fire in an accident in Saudi Arabia was charred and all its contents were destroyed except a copy of the Quran, according to a local newspaper.

A YouTube film showed the car was totally destroyed in the fire and contents inside were all burnt out except a Quran copy as its pages remained intact.

“To all those who watch this film, I say ‘God is great….everything in my car was totally consumed up by the fire except this copy of the Quran,” the man, who filmed his car, told ‘Ajel’ daily, which did not say where in Saudi Arabia the accident took place.
