Car racer killed by horse kick in Jordan

A well-known Jordanian car racer died after he was kicked by a horse while inspecting his vehicle before the start of the race in the Arab country.

Bilal Janoun was rushed to hospital in the southern Jordanian port of Aqaba after he was kicked by the horse trotting past his vehicle.

“The incident took place on Thursday and Bilal died in hospital on Friday. The race was cancelled because of his death,” the Saudi Arabic language newspaper ‘Sada’ said, quoting Jordan’s press.
