Charred monkeys spark off Saudi police action

Saudi police rushed a big force to a mountainous area after receiving reports about two charred bodies. Examination later showed they were dead monkeys.

After combing the area near the western town of Taif, police found the two bodies, which were completely charred.

“They took the bodies to hospital for examination…the coroner’s report showed they were two monkeys,” Okaz newspaper said without elaborating on the incident.
