Child drowns in water tank

A Saudi three-year-old girl drowned in a water tank under construction after losing balance while climbing the basin, Alhayat daily reported on Friday.

The girl was playing around the tank near her relatives’ house in the northwestern town of Hail when she disappeared, the paper said.

“After a search, her relatives found her dead inside the tank…police are investigating the incident,” it said.
