Comoros recalls its ambassador from Iran

The Comoros Islands has summoned its ambassador from Tehran in protest of Iran's escalation against Saudi Arabia.

In a statement, Comoros Ministry of External Relations and Cooperation reiterated solidarity and friendship with Saudi Arabia and condemned in the strongest terms any interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom.

The statement also condemned the recent attacks on the Saudi embassy and consulate in Iran.
