Daughter’s molester dies after sons beat him up

A Saudi man died in hospital a few days after he was severely beaten by his three teen age sons for molesting his 20-year-old daughter, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Sunday.

The unnamed man, in his 50s, was declared dead at hospital in the southern province of Jazan nearly four days after he was admitted as clinically dead person following the attack by his sons, Sharq Arabic language daily said.

“He had been on support machines before he died because of a severe brain hemorrhage,” the paper said.

It quoted police spokesman captain Abdul Rahman Al Zahrani as saying the three sons had been arrested and would be tried for murder.

Sharq said early this week the man confessed to police that he had molested his daughter but he was released on bail and sent home.

“When he returned home, his three sons jumped on him and beat him up severely…he was rushed to hospital, where doctors said he was clinically dead.”
