Dead newborn baby found inside car tyre

A newborn dead boy was found inside a car tyre dumped near a motorway in a deserted area in Saudi Arabia, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

A driver who was passing on the motorway near the southern town of Bisha found the baby, who was wrapped in a white piece of cloth.

Sabq newspaper quoted police sources as saying the baby was only a few hours old and that investigation is under way to determine the cause of death and identify the person who dumped the boy in that area.
