Dh827 robbery leads cops to solve murder case

Chasing two robbery suspects helped Kuwaiti Police solve a murder case, which took place two months back.

The story of how the police cracked the case has gone viral on social media.

A police patrol saw two men beating another man and robbing him. The suspects fled upon seeing the cops. The policemen, however, chased them down and nabbed one of them.

Upon arrest, the Indian suspect admitted that he stole KD68 [Dh827] from the victim.

However, investigating policemen suspected that he may have committed other crimes and interrogated him further.

He thus confessed that he had two other partners - a Syrian and an Omani – and the three together have committed many robberies earlier. And, in one of their earlier robberies, they had stabbed a man to death when he resisted them.

This was a murder case of an Indian in Al Jaleeb district that the police was investigating since two months.
