Doctors save man stabbed in heart

Saudi doctors saved the life of a man stabbed with a knife in the heart after performing an urgent surgery that lasted for several hours.

The man was brought to hospital in a critical condition after he was stabbed in the chest during a fight with another Saudi in the Northwestern town of Hail.

“Doctors at King Khalid Hospital managed to control the hemorrhage in the heart. The patient was moved to the intensive care unit and doctors said his condition is stable,” the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’ said.
