Dogs turn grave-diggers at Saudi cemetery
Human skeletons emerged out of their graves at a cemetery in Saudi Arabia due to weather conditions and persistent attacks by hungry wild dogs, prompting calls by local residents on authorities to tackle the problem.
Sabq newspaper published pictures showing many skeletons were scattered above and around the graves at the cemetery in a village in the southern province of Jazan.
“The cemetery has been a target for hungry dogs and sandstorms. A recent decision to set up a waste site near the cemetery has only aggravated the problem,” the paper said, adding that villagers have sent a message to authorities for help.
