Three Ethiopian thieves thought it was their lucky day when they stumbled across a seemingly easy targe t— a tiny Filipino with a purse full of money. But they were completely wrong as the victim turned out to be a karate expert.
The Filipino was so strong and vicious that two of the thieves fled after getting a good smack while the third one found himself unable to move because of the beating. The thief himself then begged the police to save him.
The three men in their car had been hunting for a fresh victim most of the day when they saw the Filipino waiting for a taxi. Seizing the chance, they offered to give him a lift, which he thankfully accepted and got into the vehicle.
On the way, the driver claimed his purse was pinched and accused one of the passengers in the car. So he stopped the vehicle and asked the Filipino and the two other passengers to come out to be searched.
“When they were all out in a deserted area, the three Ethiopians jumped on the tiny Filipino and tried to rob him, thinking he was an easy victim as they were apparently unaware of his martial arts skills,” Okaz Arabic language newspaper said in a report from the western Red Sea port of Jeddah.
“The Filipino’s backlash was unexpected and it caught them off guard… he jumped on them and taught them a very good lesson in karate, judo and other martial arts…two of them fled but the third fell down and could not move….police arrived later and the Ethiopian yelled to them to save him…he was arrested while the police launched a manhunt for his two colleagues.”
