Driver narrowly escapes power pole

A Saudi driver narrowly escaped after a large power pole fell down on his car while he was driving on a road in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The driver was in the middle of the road in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah when the pylon fell down on the front of his vehicle.

“The pole badly damaged the front of my car but I was not hurt.

“I have written to authorities about the accident,” the driver said, quoted by ‘Sada’ newspaper, which said the pole fell down because of rust.
