A 10-year-old boy lost his arm and suffered from serious injuries in his sensitive organs after he was electrocuted by a power cable near his house in the Gulf Kingdom.
Doctors at a government hospital in the Southern Najran province decided to amputate the boy’s arm after it was charred and suffered from gangrene.
Sada newspapers said doctors also treated the boy from severe injuries in his sensitive organs after he received a strong electric shock by the cable near a power station.
The paper said Najran’s Electricity Department has formed a committee to investigate the incident.
