Family of 4 charred to death in car crash

A Saudi man, his wife and their two children were charred to death after their car collided with another vehicle in the Gulf kingdom.

A YouTube film captured by a passer-by showed the car was still ablaze nearly 15 minutes after the crash on the road near the Northwestern town of Hail.

‘Ajel’ Arabic language newspaper, which published the film, quoted passers-by as saying the civil defence arrived in the scene late and could not rescue the family. It did not specify the age of the victims.
