Filipina maid commits suicide in Saudi Arabia

A Filinpia housemaid in Saudi Arabia committed a suicide by hanging herself inside the bathroom of her employer’s house, a newspaper said on Sunday.

Noura, 27, was found dead and a piece of cloth tied around her neck and hung from the power box inside the bathroom, Okaz said.

Forensic experts who examined the body said they believed it was a suicide case as they found no bruises or other signs of attack.

Her employer told police that Noura had suffered from mental illness before she killed herself at his house in the eastern Saudi town of Dammam.
