Flydubai cuts flight after passenger's heart attack

A Flydubai flight en route from Dubai to Amman had to land in Saudi Arabia on Friday after a Jordanian passenger had a heart attack. The passenger was reported to have died at a Saudi hospital later.

The Boeing 737 was in Saudi airspace when the man suffered from the heart ailment, prompting the pilot to request emergency landing at Al-Qaseem airport in central Saudi Arabia.

“The patient who was accompanied by his wife was transferred to hospital in Al-Qaseem but died there later..…the plane took off an hour later and resumed its flight to Amman," the Saudi Arabic language daily Sabq said.
