Girl escaping dog falls to death

A 16-year-old Egyptian girl plunged to her death from the 8th floor as she tried to run away from her brother’s dog, newspapers reported on Tuesday.

The girl was sitting in the balcony of their apartment in Cairo when her brother came in with a dog, they said.

“She was so scared that she climbed up the balcony rail…she then lost her balance and fell down,” they said, quoting a police source.
